Here in Hawaii we have access to a lot of fresh tropical fruit because it’s grown here locally. Naturally, we put those flavors to good use to create some unique blends with our açaí.
Today’s recipe, we’re working with two flavors very familiar to the Tropics; Mango and Coconut. This blend combines those flavors with our pure Tambor Açaí and a few other fresh ingredients for a delicious tropical açaí mango smoothie. So whether you’re in the Tropics or just wishing you were, here’s a smoothie that will have you feeling like you’re walking the shores of Hanalei at sunset. Try this Tambor original recipe by following the simple instructions below.
2 packs Traditional Tambor Acai [ for this recipe we’re using our unsweetened packs ]
3/4 Cups Organic Frozen Mango chunks
1 Local Apple Banana [ or 1/2 of a large organic Banana ]
1 Tablespoon Organic Local Honey [ Honey sourced as local to you as possible is always best, this goes for bee pollen as well ]
1/4 Cup Organic Coconut Milk
1-2 Leaflets of Kale
Run both of the Tambor Açaí packs under warm water for a few seconds. This helps soften the açai just enough so that it’s a little easier to slip out of its packaging. Add all ingredients into the blender and blend until smooth. Pour in a tall glass and sip happily!
