Creating a Creamy Banana-Less Acai Bowl

Not only do bananas carry an array of nutrients like potassium, vitaminB6, Vitamin C and Magnesium, but they also provide the perfect creamy texture for some of our favorite bowls. Fortunately for those who aren’t a fan of bananas, it’s not the end of the road. By changing the blending liquid, you’ll boost the creaminess in all the right ways. Simply substitute coconut milk in place of your liquids! To add more thickness to our bowl, we also added in chia seeds. High fiber, magnesium and omega-3 fatty acids, chia seeds are another perfect addition to creating a Creamy Banana-Less Acai Bowl .

*Makes 2 servings

4 packs Tambor Acai
1/4 cup Coconut Milk
1 tablespoons Chia Seeds
1/4 cup frozen blueberries
1/4 cup frozen pineapple
1/2 tablespoon peanut butter

Unsweetened Coconut shreds
Goji Berries
Dragon Fruit
Crunchy Coconut Almond Granola

Run the Tambor Acai packs under warm water for a few seconds. This helps soften the acai just enough so that its a little easier to slip out of its packaging. Add all ingredients into the blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a bowl and garnish with toppings!
