Tambor Joins the Non-GMO Project!

Tambor Açaí is proud to announce that we are now part of the Non-GMO Project, “a non-profit organization committed to preserving and building sources of non-GMO products, educating consumers, and providing verified non-GMO choices” (nongmoproject.org/about). Not only are our products verified to be free of any genetically modified ingredients, we strongly support the mission of the project. We believe genetically modified crops not only pose a harm to humans, but also to our land and wildlife.

Personally, we do our best to support our local community by purchasing as many organic local products as we can. Growing our own seasonal vegetables and fruits are a must, and we raise chickens, partially free range and fed with organic non-GMO feed, for fresh daily eggs. We also raise honeybees in our back yard! We are always looking to support those in our community who are willing to make a change.

Friends, there is no such a thing as a small change! Everything we do and eat has an impact on the earth and our lives, so no matter how little your actions may seem, you can make a big difference. Why not start with what you eat?
